Whats the Difference Between Clay and Wax?

Heres a question to you all, what do you think the difference between clay and wax is? Comment below!!

In my opinion I believe that wax is more for spikes and clay is more for texture. For instance in this argument I’ll be using Giesel Clay and the Gatsby product line. Most of the Gatsby Wax has a bit of shine in it in some form or another infact from my history of wax usage most wax have some form of shine or another except for one, and that is Gatsby Grey Matte Grunge which really brings up the two questions. Does wax have to be shiny? and Is Gatsby Grey an actual wax? I believe there is a bit of falsification the name “Gatsby Wax Moving Rubber” for instance if we look at Gatsby Blue Cool Wet theres no way that can be a wax right? Its more of a Gel then anything else. If we put these points together this proves that not all Gatsby from the Moving Rubber series is a wax. Therefore there is a possibility that grey is actually a clay! HOLY SMOKES. So coming back to it I’m about 50% sure that wax is always shiny and clay on the other hand can be shiny or not and provides a very texture look and to prove my point I will use Gatsby Hard Clay, Giesel as it does provide excellent texture and does have shine even if Giesel does say its matte there is still shine. Ok guys you probably didn’t read ALL of that no way! So I want you guys to have some feedback… what you think the difference is between clay and wax? cause honestly I don’t know myself I haven’t reviewed enough products to know every different product out there.
