Description:
To celebrate our new layout coming on Oct 1st. We are hosting our first annual.. So you think you can style? Contest. You can enter this contest by submitting your picture into our gallery in the appropriate category (ex. Long Hair Men, Long hair Women, Medium Hair Men..) between Oct 1st to Oct 31st. The top 5 user pictures with the most thumbs “UP” in each category will be deemed the winner of round 1, all winners of round one will be rewarded with minimum of 1 hair product or 1 piece of clothing from our affiliated clothing e-store.
Last round contestants will fight to be the top styler of their category by a simple vote system that will be on our front page. Winner of this round will double up on their prize! Lastly, the best of the best, to prove you are the best among the last remaining 6 contestant, a vote page similar to round two will initiate, contestant with most votes will win the whole contest and walk away with over A LOAD of Japanese hair products, cosmetics, and clothes (Prize to be announced at a later date)

Nothing states you can’t enter the pictures in different categories, so it *should* be fine. You should check with a Style06 staff member though. I’m not sure about the voting system either :/.

You need to hold up a sign when you take the photo (no adding “Style06″ using a image editor) so you can prove that you are indeed qualifying to enter the contest.

Just to make sure; I understand that we can submit a maximum of two pictures in this contest:
Do both pictures need to be the same hair style?
Is this contest based on who has the best hair style or on someone’s skill to style their own hair?
And lastly, can we upload photos now and replace them later until the October 31st deadline?
I’m pretty sure these questions will help out others as well.

We’ve had alot of request to post more than 2 pictures. After long discussion, maximum 2 pictures per style, and maximum of uploading 3 styles.
You can replace your picture, but you will be required to email submit@style06.com with your new picture and URL of current picture to be replaced.
The gallery is based on skills of styling own hair.

you have to submit each picture in one post unless its the same hairstyle with different angles then you can just combine the pictures together and submit it as one jpeg file, got it?

i have a question on the “vote” too…for example you submit 2 pictures for a category. towards the end of the voting period lets say one of the picture has 10 votes and the other has 15…does that mean you have 25 votes in total?? or do you only have 15?
