OMG. What a new way to style your hair. My biggest dilemma with my hair is when I contemplate for hours trying to decide if i should color my hair or not. Then one day i stumbled upon this gift from the heavens, a blessing from above if you will. It was this coloring clay that came in a variety of colors.
At first glance it looks like you’ll need to buy more than just one since it doesn’t seem like it comes with a lot, but fret not, for it is a bottomless cup of fresh satisfaction. The whiff of peachy scent filled my nose. (Delicious
) It has a sort of metallic texture to it as well.
Review:
The Start Zero Hair Clay provides you with a nice hold. All you need is a quick dip of the fingers and scoop out a bit of this clay to style your hair. However it gets your hands really messy because it comes in different colors (Red is the messiest). It will keep your hair styled for most of the day , but as you play with your hair more often the clay gets on to your hands and weakens the layers of clay on your hair.
Don’t worry about the metallic features for it does not look metallic on your hair, it simply creates the illusion that you dyed your hair. Do not put too much in one particular spot or it’ll look sort of metallic and super awkward. This product wont get you some crazy Final Fantasy Reno Hair but it will give you a reddish look to your hair. It takes a bit of practice to fully master.
| Pros: | Cons: |
| Pricing is pretty good . | Messy application |
| Its hard to mess up | Fades after a full day |
| Provides sturdy hold |
Conclusion: Awesome product for only $9.98. Great for experimenting with colors. Most importantly it holds well, and smells AWESOME.

Great product. Been using the gold variety for a couple of years. Washes out easier than any other clay and adds great hold. I tend to use it on top of another clay, eg v05 or brylcreem as on its own it tends to leave hair very dry and ruins the condition after a few days use.
