It is one of the newer products in the moving rubber series, however Mandom Gatsby has recently launch their newest color in the Gatsby moving rubber series, the brown multi use moving rubber. I have yet get my hands on such a highly anticipated product.

For those of you who’ve read my article on Gatsby Moving Rubber (Swing Master), you’ll already know that I’m not a big fan of spray waxes. And while Swing Master has its high points, Cool Motion pales in comparison. All of the product line’s other defects are still present as well (such as cost to product ratio, alcoholic scent, etc).

Paul Mitchells Elastic Shaping Paste is salon grade meaning two things, it’s very expensive and it’s very hard to find. The packaging is very unique with a transparent plastic on the outside. The product itself looks like a really hard wax. The smell is very neutral it’s not heavily scented but I have had comments that it does smell good. ( from lady friend of course)

It’s pink and long, it’s like an elongated Gatsby moving rubber. The smell is a hint of green apple. The canister was about 10$ Canada so roughy 10$ USD. For the amount you get I would say it is not worth it, a bottle of Tresemme hair spray about two times as big as this one would only cost about 8$.

American crew is made from the same company that created D:Fi so in terms of quality and packaging it’s pretty much the same. In my opinion American crew is targeted to more of a Caucasian male market, the smell is a big give away. Whereas D:Fi is more for unisex and probably targets more of a multicultural market.
