I have had enough of watching those poorly edited videos of soccer players bouncing balls off of their hair on YouTube. Oh god, it was what? A week or two that the advertisement had been there. (But it works?) So, I decided to grab me one of those “Indestructible” Wax/Gels. My expectations were low, I usually use Japanese hair products; getting hair products from the drug store is not my forte. We’ve had bad times together.
The Crappy Commercial If You Guys Have not Seen It Yet
The lame color, words cluttered everywhere on the product; pretty typical packaging. Indestructible Sculpting Wax smells like alcohol and something sweet like a fruit. At first glance this was pretty much a typical hair wax that any other drug store hair product can sell. But something was different. Maybe after watching those commercials a billion times got to my head, or the fact that the product itself looked like a decent wax. The feel of it was soft and oily like most typical waxes. But how did it perform?
Indestructible Sculpting Wax is oily as mentioned above, meaning shiny and lots of it. It’s fine if you have blonde hair but if you have black or any darker color it makes you look messy and greasy. But since it’s summer, and you’re probably gonna be out most of the time, shine can make you “glow” and actually make you look nice. Heavy, the product is very heavy so it is suggested that you have short or medium hair and anything longer than say 8cm (about 3 inches) will fall down. Did I mention that it’s oily? Meaning it’s hard to wash off its like Gatsby. But you know how Gatsby kind of clings? This one feels like it’s slippery and soapy all the time when your hair is wet. But when the product dries, that’s another story. Having control like Gatsby and weighing more than a ton, this product is actually decent when it dries up. It gets really light and gives your hair a bit of a lift which makes it look a bit airgiving a bit of lift it makes your hair look a bit airy, assuming you put a lot down.
