Identifying Your Face Shape

First step in choosing the right hair style for yourself is to identify your own face shape. In general there are five different face shapes.

round_face_shape long_face_shape triangle_face_shape wide_face_shape

Round face shape, top of hair should be lifted higher.
Long face Shape,  top of hair should be flatter, and sides should spread outward.
Triangle face Shape, flatten top-side of hair, and back of hair downwards spread.
Wide face Shape, top of hair should be lifted higher, flatten top-side of hair, and back of hair downwards spread.

Diamond face Shape is considered the ideal face shape to have, any hair style will fit this face shape.

    The underside of my head is round(circle) but the upperside is square.

    From my understand heart shaped faces should be classified as triangle but you see most men do not have heart shaped faces, heart shaped faces are usually used to define women face shapes. =P
