The best hair product?
Just kidding, there is no best hair product.
Wow, you should get banned!
Well no? This guide is more about finding your own best product
Everyone’s hair texture is different, their hair weight is different, their head shape is different. So there is NO best product. There’s only better products.
So what will I need?
You’ll need:
1) An imagination.
2) Different products, preferably a big range of different types of products.
3) Brain to store the information from your experiments.
4) Know what your style is, don’t copy others that you’ve just seen, just be imaginative. Also, don’t care what other people think of your hair, it’s your hair not theirs.
5) Know how to wash hair properly and dry properly so it’s manageable.
Okay, I’ve finally managed to buy a brain or download it illegally from somewhere, what next?
Well, we start the experiment?
Well seeing now you know what style you want. To add onto making your hair manageable. I personally make it so my hair doesn’t even wave or curl if I add product, if I want to wave it, I’ll use my product and fingers to make it wave. – Total control over your hairstyle.
Since you know what kind of style you want. You should know if:
1) You want shine or not.
2) You want it to stand up really high or not.
3) You want it to look natural or spiked.
4) Are you going for the asian salon’s messy look? XD
Well, depending on what you have now you should get a small plastic container and place an amount of both products into it and stir it well with a clean finger. Or even mix it so fast with a manual finger blending machine LOL.
However, don’t mix it TOO much and don’t let it be exposed to air. If you mix it too much, the stickiness of the product will be lost. Your just wanting to mix it so it is together. Then when you use it, you further melt the product so it can be placed on your hair cleanly.
My favourite mixtures for my hair for good spikes:
3/4 Grey Gatsby Moving Rubber
1/4 Gatsby Twist and spikes clay
30 bursts of Tresemme extra strong hold freeze hair spray.
This gives extremely nice hold, shows the layers nicely too
Then I also spray some bursts of Tresemme on my hair after
I also have used Sebastian Xtah Crude Hair clay with Charles Worthington Mud Styler
Also Gatsby Technical Design clay with some Soft clear English brand wax.
Hope this helped

Holy crap. Using 30 bursts is going to make your hair look waaaay too shiny and hard. I personally don’t like spikes that much. A “Hay” like style is the way I go

Err… 30 bursts to MIX. The mix will dilute -_-” That’s why it’s 30 lol. Not directly on your hair.

Actually, my hair’s not shiny.
O-o It’s rather dull. :3
You can always try use a wet mud product like CW Mud styler, that’s pretty good for wettish no shine texturizing
