Gatsby Blue is the black sheep in the family. While the others are all opaque and directed towards a matte look, Cool Wet is transparent and functions like a gel. Not surprisingly, Blue is the least popular and most rarely used of the Moving Rubber line. Heck, I’m not sure how it can even be considered a “moving rubber.”
I would recommend Gatsby Blue for only a few specific reasons:
1. You’re not Asian and have given up on trying to obtain Asian hair styles with your wavy/curly hair.
2. Your hair has grown out and is at the awkward length where it’s too long for Pink, too short for Orange, and you don’t own Purple.
3. You miss the 90s when people used gel instead of wax/clay/putty.
Seriously, though, this product is best used for curly hair where wet products can accentuate the waves. It’s not too popular in non-celebrity Asian hairstyles, but you do see Korean superstars now and then with the wet look. But, you really have to use a lot of this product to even get the Cool Wet look, otherwise it just gets lost in your hair (or maybe my hair is just too thick).
Overall, you can save your money and skip this one, unless you just want to own the entire line. Gatsby Yellow (Nuance Motion) will be the last and final review of the Moving Rubber series, so look for that in the near future!

I agree, pretty much gives you the “just stepped out of the pool” look, the whole day. Try it out if you guys want!

actually it doesn’t harden like normal gel would, and if used by the right people can look pretty good IMO.

Yeah, normal gel makes your hair crispy. Blue gatsby leaves your hair flexible, so it still has that one-up on the others

or you have an off day and want to get some wet look for a event or something.
Or you dont care about all stereotypes asians and rock a good done wet look.
actually for people with waves/curls instead of plain straight hair this product is a blessing. just put all down and your waves/curls look good and there, you’re done instead of straightening hair and doing all extra work to look good. up to you thou.
(would like to have curly/wavy hair, thinking about getting a perm this summer)
