If Pink and Purple are brothers, then Green and Orange are… sisters. While Pink and Purple are for shorter, spikier styles, Green and Orange are best suited for medium to long length hair that is not planning on defying gravity. So what’s the difference between Green and Orange?
Green Gatsby is meant to give your hair some volume, hence the name air rise. Ever seen someone with terrible, flat hair that’s obviously too long to spike up with Pink? Recommend Green to them. Medium/long hair is too heavy to lift with Pink, and it’ll just end up greasy looking. Green, however, will bring hair together into spike-like formations that will hang down instead of up. Also, Green can be applied to the tips of your hair to twist into points–something that Orange is not used for. It does take quite a bit of product, though, since more hair = more product and Green is not as sticky as Pink or Purple. I’d definitely use hairspray, too, if you want your work to last the day. All in all a good product, but only if you understand the limitations of Green Gatsby and work within them.

I believe that that is a pretty old Gatsby wax, and it’s content is white and more stickier right?
It isn’t the same as Grunge Mat or Air Rise, but use small amounts when styling your hair and try to do the same style, it should work. Gradually add some more products if it isn’t working, as you can always add, but not substract your hair to product ratio.
I don’t like those as well actually.

Well, I guess they do provide the best information and techniques for their products. But they also got a kickass stylists who knows what he is doing. But as for us individuals, I would advice you to try and mimic their techniques/ moves how they style their hair, adjust them to your needs and fix your great hair.
You shouldnt be limited by their Video. Unless you do teh spikiez azn style and go mad while twisting large spikes between your fingers, then you my sir, are doing it wrong.
Which Styling wax do you mean?

Both won’t get you a crazy ass spikes or a DBZ look, it’s how you style it IMO.
Air Rise gives you a more fluffier look but it is pretty hard to use if you don’t know how to. Grunge Mat gives you a mat look and it’s good for texturizing.

Grey will give you more defined texture, but I’d pick green for sex hair (given that your hair is long enough).

definitely agree with you on the part about hold. Good review, I’ve used it before and the smell is really good (though it smells like the other gatsby products) and it does make your hair looked layered if you do it right.
