im full asian and this rlly helped me son thnk uu. also all of this facts are true specially about the shinyy part everybody compliments my hair for being silck and shiny then ppl kept asking me how i do it and i said idk im born wth it. thn the strangestencounter i had is when i was walking down the halls of my school a girl grabbed my hair lightly and said silkyy imjust O_O WTH proud to b asian!!

Hey i am full asian and my hair fits all of this.
the left side of my head’s hair is good, it follows what i try to do with it, but the right side tends to do whatever it wants. it wont go with the gel and it gets out of place, its like it is just sticking out even when i comb it in with gel or shaping cream. how do i fix this?

P.S
I have short hair, when i get it cut i get 2 on the sides and a fingerslength blended into a bit longer for a fauxhawk.

Have you tried blow drying it upside down while it’s wet? You can also use a straightener…you can check out bubzbeauty on how to do that…I had use to have the same problem

Correct me if i am wrong but asian hair will look brown in the sun. It is a natural thing so don’t worry so much. It is not malnutrition or anything.

Hey, I am 100% Chinese. I have a side part and my hair is always flat, even after I blow dry it. Any way how to?
I always dread my hair in the morning, my hair is much thicker than it was before. My ends tend to curl into a mess, and the rest is straight. If I fall asleep with it wet, it will bend my hair into a form I can’t get out of it without washing it for multiple times. It sucks to have extremely thick hair sometimes because it is too heavy on my head a lot, and also all around my hairline is still baby hairs, and I am a teenager. So that means it is still thickening I assume. Since my hair is naturally parted to the side and it is impossible to change, you can see the baby hairs. My hair line is like triangle shaped. My current hairstyle is layered and short, but it grew out TERRIBLE. It hurts to put my hair up and I can’t put it up like people with caucasian hair. It hurts even if you move a few strands out of place for me. I was thinking about thinning out my hair, but I don’t know. Any possible hair styles to go along with the hair thinning? Also, I want to dye my hair, but I can’t bleach it. A lot of people with LIGHT hair can easily do this without bleaching it. HELP PLEASE!

Its very normal,

A lot of girls including my sister have dark brown hair that shows lighter brown tips in the sun.

Call me ignorant… but don’t mean to sound it… my daughter (adopted from China) has a very dark brown/black hair but out in the sun you see brown tips on the ends of her hair… someone told me this was due to Malnutrition due to the Orphanage… I don’t really believe that could be the case… I have tried looking all over the internet to find the answer and I thought I would try find the answer here. Thanks…

Use a pH level indicator test strip. You might have used one in science class before. It’s a really small ribbon like paper that changes color according to acidity level.
